About Kenny
Kenny is very proud of his Putnam County roots. He was born in Palatka in 1951, and has lived in Putnam County for most of his life.
In 1974, he married his wife Susan Mattox Eubanks. Their home is in East Palatka. They have one daughter, Amanda, and five beautiful and talented grand- children— Britny, Jared, Zachary, Alyssa, and Aidan. Their beautiful family (pictured right) live in Pittsburgh.
After 33 years of service, Kenny retired from Clay Electric Cooperative. He returned to work in 2006 as a real estate associate with Watson Realty Corporation in East Palatka.
Kenny has been actively involved in the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Clubs for most of his professional life. He has served in many capacities such as: President of the Putnam County Chamber, various division director positions within the Chamber, as well as vice president of Economic Development. He is also past charter president of the River City Kiwanis Club, and a previous board member of both the Palatka and Azalea City Kiwanis Clubs.
He served on the Putnam County Planning Commission for almost six years. During his time with the Planning Commission, the Commission was thoroughly involved in revising and rewriting the Florida Comprehensive Land Use for Putnam County.
Kenny and Susan have worked tirelessly with others for the senior citizens of Putnam County. They coordinated charity events that raised more than $15,000 for the building fund of the new Edgar Johnson Senior Center in Palatka. Kenny has also served as master of ceremony for the Putnam County Fair Association’s Senior Appreciation Day for over 19 years.
When time permits, Kenny enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also loves the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisherman.
