        My motivation to run for District 3 County Commissioner is driven by my passion to serve the citizens of the County I love - PUTNAM COUNTY. I feel blessed to live and work in Putnam County.

         

        For many of my professional years, I have been involved in activities which focus on improving Putnam County’s quality of life.

If elected, it is my goal to continue to make Putnam County a great place to live, work or retire. I will:

 

  • *Work toward solutions that re-emphasize community pride

  • *Focus on citizen concerns to ensure your needs remain my priorities

  • *Respond in a timely manner to requests and concerns

  • *Resist tax increases

  • *Aggressively pursue funding for viable solutions to the water and sewer needs of the County

  • *Foster team work and promote a shared responsibility for issues facing Putnam County

  • *Keep our neighborhoods and seniors safe by supporting our law enforcement, fire departments (both paid and volunteer), emergency management, and other safety-related activities

  • *Recruit environmentally friendly companies, with an emphasis on technology, which will create higher paying job opportunities. These efforts will give our children a reason to remain in this area for employment.

  • *Take a proactive role in encouraging balanced growth that respects the environment and meets the infrastructural needs of the area.

We must ensure that Putnam County will provide a safe place for all our citizens. A place where our grandchildren and great grandchildren can discover the natural beauty of Putnam County. A place our families can proudly call home.
